My French Dip Recipe…
So Stasha over at http://www.northwestmommy.com/ suggested I post a crock pot recipe a week. I kinda liked the idea so here we go…I thought I’d share with you one of my easiest and favorite recipes which I happened to make this week.
French Dip
1 roast (depending on how much meat you want between 3-6 pounds I usually use a 6 pound one.)
2 cans french onion soup
2 cans beef broth
1 soup can full of water.
I put all those together and let them simmer for about 6 hours on low, or until there is no more pink. From there I take the roast out and slice it into thin slices before returning it back into the pot. Let it sit for about another hour and then you’re ready. Grab a hogie roll and your favorite cheese and assemble.
Easy Peasy!!! and soooo yummy. This is one of my daddy’s favorites as well. What can I say the guy has good taste. You can also saute up some onions and mushrooms if you want as well
